  • When was First Investment Group established?
  • First Investment Group was established towards the end of 2004, it started its operations in 2005. In 2006 the company went through a takeover which resulted into its current successa as an investment organization offering a wide array of investment services.

  • What Licenses does First Investment Group Hold and for what services?
  • First Investment Group is registered at the Ministry of Trade and Finance as a limited liability company.

    In addition to owning a seat in Amman Stock Exchange and being licensed By Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) to offer Brokerage Services, the company is licensed to present Margin Trading , Asset Management Services and Financial Advisory Services to its’ clients.

About How to become a client & Related Issues

  • How can I open an account with "FIG" and what are the documents required?
    1. To open an account at "FIG" you should fill the Account Opening Form. Jordanian citizens should also provide a valid national ID; non Jordanians should provide a valid Passport.
    2. Be sure to include all the required information on the form.
    3. Our Customer Service Officer will contact you to arrange for you to sign and receive the account opening documentation and related agreements.
    4. You can also contact the Customer Service Department by phone and arrange for personal visit to our offices.
  • What types of Accounts do you have?
    1. Brokerage Accounts at Local, Regional and International Markets. For more details refer to Brokerage Services.
    2. Managed Portfolios in different currencies, durations and risk profiles for more details refer to Asset Management Services.
  • We offer the following types of accounts

  • How do I place my buying and selling orders and how do I receive my confirmations?
    1. You can place your orders to the brokers via recorder telephone lines, or through the Client/Broker Online Trading System.
    2. For your trades in the Amman Stock Exchange you will receive SMS confirmation of the details of executed trades.
    3. For trading in all markets including Amman Stock Exchange you will receive detailed invoices and you are requested to manually sign the related confirmation.
  • How do I withdraw available cash money from my account?
    1. You can come personally to the Customer Service Department and submit your application in writing on the related form and receive the check issued to your favor (payable to the first Beneficiary)
    2. You can contact the Customer Service Department by phone and inform them of your request and then come in person sign the application receive the check issued to your favor (payable to the first Beneficiary) at the same time, thus reducing the waiting time for you.

  • What are "FIG" OnLine Services?
    1. Account and Portfolio Inquiry Related Services.

  • "FIG" Online Services provide the clients with easy to use secure and reliable online access.

    The services include the following:
  • How do I change my password?
  • Initial password: this is a 6-digit alpha-numeric password that will be emailed to you once your online account has been approved and created.

    First log-in: when you log in for the first time, you have to use the password provided (initial password). Once successfully logged in, you will be asked to accept the Terms & Conditions that appear on the screen. Once you accept the Terms & Conditions, the system will request you to change your password to a new password - this has to be a minimum of 6-digit alpha-numeric characters. This process is only required at the first log-in.

  • Why do I need to change my password every three months?
  • Changing your password every three months is enforced automatically by the system and is an audit requirement that is there to protect you.

  • How often can I change my password?
    1. Pressing the “Edit” option.
    2. Enter the New Password. “As Noted Password Rules”.
    3. Confirm the New Password.
    4. Pressing “Submit” to save your New Password.
  • You can change your password as often as you wish. This can be done by:

  • What to do if I have forgotten my password?
    1. Press on “Request New Password”.
    2. Enter your Account No OR the email that you originally entered in your first registration. Make sure you entered the same email.
    3. A new password will then be reissued to you by email within one business day.
